APPROVAL OF SUPERINTENDENT'S FINANCIAL STATEMENT FOR THE MONTH ENDING NOVEMBER 30, 2007
Description
The Superintendent's Financial Statement for the month ending November 30, 2007, shows a negative Capital Projects Fund unreserved fund balance. The reserved balance is much larger this year than in prior years due to the rebuilds of Riverview and Venice High Schools. When the majority of property taxes are received in December, the unreserved balance will be positive. The SBA investments currently in Fund B are shown on a separate line as non-current assets, as the District does not currently have access to these funds. These investments account for 7% of the District's investment portfolio in SBA and other local accounts.
Recommendation
That the Superintendent's Financial Statement for the month ending November 30, 2007, be approved.
